Healthy Kids, Healthy Future Technical Assistance Program Virtual Convening

Nemours Children’s Health would like to invite you to participate in the 2023 Healthy Kids, Healthy Future Technical Assistance Program (HKHF TAP) Virtual Convening.
HKHF TAP activities are made possible with funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and implemented by Nemours Children’s. Under HKHF TAP, Nemours Children’s provides technical assistance (TA), tools/resources, and financial support to embed obesity prevention into state ECE systems and/or support facility level interventions aimed at improving ECE provider practices.

Purpose
Through this event, state professionals working to create healthier early care and education (ECE) programs and to impact state ECE systems change will come together to learn more about nutrition and physical activity topics and interventions. National and state partners will share strategies on outdoor learning environments and CACFP GIS mapping.
Who should participate
Individuals from state or local organizations or agencies working to improve nutrition and physical activity in ECE settings and systems. This event is open to all states, including HKHF TAP, SPAN (CDC’s State Physical Activity and Nutrition grant), and Ambassador states (states that do not receive HKHF TAP or SPAN funding).

Day 2: Beyond the Map: Using GIS Maps to Impact State Early Care and Education Systems
Speakers: Child Care Aware® of America & Guest Speakers from 2 States
